Dixie Chapter of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club visited GRHOF on April 19, 2008. We really enjoyed the visit, with lots of great racing history, and the lunch was fantastic. Dan Elliott provided very good insight to the current status of NASCAR. Quite a large departure from years past. Thanks for your hospitality. Henry Dabrowski

Classic Glass Corvette Club of Marietta, GA

1st annual Poker Run on April 12, 2008

to benefit Autism Speaks www.autismspeaks.org. The weather was not the sunny delight that most Corvette owners’ like to show off their cars in, but over 25 cars braved the misty morning to join in the ride.  The 95 mile course began in Canton and wound its way through the picturesque GA Mountains to culminate at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville.  Gordon Pirkle and his staff at the Champion’s Café were wonderful hosts to the awards luncheon.  The Vette owners were thrilled as volunteers from the GRHOF flagged them into Winner’s Circle where they parked for more festivities.  Keelie Sparks
