Georgia Racing Hall of Fame Museum
The
Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (GRHOF) museum in Dawsonville, GA is recognized by the state legislature
as the official home of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, which recognizes prominent members of Georgia’s racing heritage.
Museum hours are:
Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday 12 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Gordon Pirkle,
local businessman and long time racing enthusiast, can often be
seen taking groups of people through the museum and sharing his
love for this segment of Dawsonville’s history. Pirkle explains
how stock car racing roots started in moonshine manufacturing
and distribution.
